Welcome to my course on content creation. Your complete guide to creating professional content for written, audio, and video formats and creating a successful content marketing plan. In this course, I will walk you through everything I have learned about creating content to help you create high-quality engaging content for your audience. By the end of this course, you will have the skills that you need to create and promote high-quality written, audio and video content. |

- Must be able to read and write in English Language.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have a laptop.
Course Outline
At the beginning of this course I will walk you through on how to come up with a concept before creating any type of content. Every great content starts with a great concept.
In this section I will teach you how to compose and start publishing your own blog posts using WordPress. We will also teach you how to create website content and social media posts.
In this section I will train you on how to create, edit and publish video content on YouTube and other social media platforms. We will also teach you on how to do screencasting and livestreaming using Camtasia Studio and StreamLab.
This section I will focus on how you can create great photos with your Smartphone for publication. We will also learn how to edit photos using Canva and then learn about image metadata.
Here you will learn about recording and editing audio using Audacity. You will also learn how to create your own Podcast.
This section will include an overview of content Copyright, Licensing and Plagarism.
Every content that we create has a purpose. I will teach you how to use various types of created content to sell a product or service. I will also teach you how to monetize your blog posts and YouTube channel using Google Adsense.
Understanding Search Engine Optimation is an important aspect when creating content, especially written content. So, in this section I will walk you through the basics of SEO using Yoast SEO for WordPress and also we’ll dive into Google Trends, Google Analytics etc.
Artificial Intelligence is trending, that is why I will be showing you how to effectively use some AI content creation tools to speed up your workflow.
At the end of this course, you are expected to complete all projects given to you before you’re certified. This is a practical course and it requires some creativity to become an effective content creator.
About the Trainer
Ousman Faal is an ICT tutor with over 12 years experience teaching in both tertiary and senior high school in The Gambia. He is also an entrepreneur and has founded Faalen Technologies and Skills.GM. He is a Web & Graphic Designer, Videographer and Content Creator.
Mr Faal has over 8 years of experience creating various types of professional content for client websites and for his personal blog faalictacademy.com. He has been creating YouTube video content since 2015 and has thousands of views from his video lectures. Mr Faal has also authored a book titled ICT for Beginners which has been currently approved by the Curricullum department of The Gambia to be used by senior secondary schools in the country. Making his textbook the only ICT textbook approved from a Gambian author.
Ousman’s journey of becoming an effective content creator has given him wealth of knowledge in this field which he wishes to share with others in this course.
